Discovery Gateway

Christopher's cousin is in the process of moving to California, so we went up to hang out with them one last time. I had never been to Discovery Gateway, but the kids had a blast! It wasn't quite as cool as the Polymer Playhouse in Ohio, but a close second for sure.

First there was a ball area to explore.

Then a water area, which their "cousin" (Christopher's cousin's son- is that once removed or something?) soaked himself in as much as possible. He is in the brown shirt.

Then Kaitlyn found these little scooters. She had never seen one before, but climbed right on and figured out how to scoot within one minute. Smart little girl! She loved it.

Then there was a grocery store for the kids to investigate. They liked that a lot, though they probably didn't understand how cool the registers were.

A climbing wall . . .

And a farm area, which had a big horse . . .

And a garden patch Kaitlyn decided she needed to climb on.

The little house had everything to scale for the kids, which was adorable. I loved watching Griffin and Kaitlyn sit down for a meal together here.

The rest of the place is more for bigger kids, but we did go outside to see the helicopter. Tyler climbed right into the backseat and stayed in that one seat the whole time. We tried to get him up to the front for the cool buttons, but he liked his chair thank you very much. Funny guy.
